Banna, Ilocos Norte - The Regional Public Safety Batallion
(RPSB) 1st Maneuver Company launched the Advisory Council Meeting on September
9, 2014 at Bomitog, Banna, Ilocos Norte.

Dennis Cabigat, company commander officiated the event. Election was conducted
and six (6) came from different organizations were chosen as part of the board;
Rev. Msgr. Ronald Bonayon from the religious group, Engr. Apolinario Lorenzo on
business sector, Dr. Ely Pascua from education department, Mr. Bernard Ver from
media, Ms. Mae Alnie Agalud representing the government and Brgy. Chairman
Rogelio Pambid II for the community.
Meanwhile, the council
decided to chose the chairman and Mr. Bernard Ver from the media group was
chosen unanimously. However, Dr. Ely Pascua was chosen as the vice-chair. The
group also agreed that in an event wherein the chairperson is out of office for
reasonable excuse, the vice-chair will takeover.
"We need to
strengthen our organization to execute well our aim to serve and protect the
people," Cabigat said.
The council was formed in
order to excel in various social obligations most especially in maintaining
peace and harmonious relationship in the society. Moreover, the brotherhood
will be sustained and the immeasurable camaraderie will remain.
